tahnabitiyo puruṣo drīgham addhāna saṃsari |
etthabhāvaṃñathābhāvaṃ tattha tattha punappuno ||

A man with craving as his companion has wandered through a long course of saṃsāra,
going from this state to that, here and there, again and again.
