tṛṣṇādvitīyaḥ puruṣo dīrgham adhvānam āśayā |
itthaṃbhāvānyathībhāvaḥ saṃsāre tv āgatiṃ gatim ||

Uv 3:12
A man with craving as his companion, through longing for a long journey,
passing from this existence to another, experiences coming and going in saṃsāra.
