ma[nopūrvvaṃ]gamā dhammā manośreṣṭhā manojavā |
manasā ca prasannena bhāṣate vā karoti vā |
tato naṃ sukham anneti cchāyā vā anapāyinī ||

2 Dhp 2 / Mind precedes all dharmas; mind is their chief; they are made of mind. / If one speaks or acts with a serene mind, / then happiness follows them like a shadow that does not depart.
