Uv31:23
manaḥpūrvaṅgamā dharmā manaḥśreṣṭhā manojavāḥ |
manasā hi praduṣṭena bhāṣate vā karoti vā |
tatas taṃ duḥkham anveti cakraṃ vā vahato padam ||

Uv 31:23 / Mind precedes all dharmas; mind is their chief; they are made of mind. / For if one speaks or acts with a corrupted mind, / then suffering follows him just as the wheel follows the ox's hoof.
