(yathā daṇḍena gopālo gāvo rakṣati sāmināṃ |)
evaṃ gopayatātmānaṃ kṣaṇo vo mā upatyagāt |
kṣaṇātītā hi śocante narakeṣu samarpitāḥ ||

Uv5:17c-f / (Just as a cowherd guards the cattle of his masters with a stick,) / so protect yourselves: let not the favorable moment pass you by! / For those who have missed the favorable moment grieve when consigned to hells.
