12. Degé has bcom ldan ’das kyis mkhyen bzhin du… (literally “the Blessed One, though he already knew…”). The Dunhuang manuscript also has the phrase mkhyen bzhin du, “though he already knew,” but this part of the line is absent in the Chinese version.
