བྱ་བར་འཇིག་རྟེན་དུ་འབྱུང་བར་འགྱུར་རོ། །ཤཱ་རིའི་བུ་དེའི་ཚེ་ན། བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་དེ་བཞིན་གཤེགས་པ་པད་མའི་འོད་དེའི་སངས་རྒྱས་ཀྱི་ཞིང་རྡུལ་མེད་པ་ཞེས་བྱ་བར་འགྱུར་ཏེ། མཉམ་པ་ཉམས་དགའ་བ་བཟང་བ་སྡུག་པ་ཡོངས་སུ་དག་པ་འབྱོར་པ་རྒྱས་པ་བདེ་བ་ལོ་ལེགས་པ་མི་དང་ལྷ་མང་པོས་རབ་ཏུ་གང་བ། གཞི་བཻ་དཱུརྱ་ལ་གསེར་གྱི་སྐུད་པས་མིག་མངས་རིས་སུ་བྲིས་པ། མིག་མངས་རིས་དེ་ཀུན་ཏུ་རིན་པོ་ཆེའི་ཤིང་སྐྱེས་ཏེ། རྟག་པར་རྒྱུན་དུ་རིན་པོ་ཆེ་སྣ་བདུན་གྱི་མེ་ཏོག་དང་འབྲས་བུ་དང་ལྡན་པར་འགྱུར་རོ། །ཤཱ་རིའི་བུ་དེ་བཞིན་གཤེགས་པ་དགྲ་བཅོམ་པ་ཡང་དག་པར་རྫོགས་པའི་སངས་རྒྱས་པད་མའི་འོད་དེ་ཡང་ཐེག་པ་གསུམ་ལས་བརྩམས་ནས་ཆོས་སྟོན་ཏེ། གཞན་ཡང་ཤཱ་རིའི་བུ་དེ་བཞིན་གཤེགས་པ་དེ་བསྐལ་པའི་སྙིགས་མ་ལ་མི་འབྱུང་མོད་ཀྱི། འོན་ཀྱང་སྔོན་གྱི་སྨོན་ལམ་གྱི་དབང་གིས་ཆོས་སྟེན་པར་འགྱུར་རོ། །ཤཱ་རིའི་བུ་བསྐལ་པ་དེའི་མིང་ཡང་རིན་པོ་ཆེ་ཆེན་པོས་བརྒྱན་པ་ཞེས་བྱ་བར་འགྱུར་རོ། །ཤཱ་རིའི་བུ་འདི་ཇི་སྙམ་དུ་སེམས། ཅིའི་ཕྱིར་བསྐལ་པ་དེ་རིན་པོ་ཆེ་ཆེན་པོས་བརྒྱན་པ་ཞེས་བྱ་ཞེ་ན། ཤཱ་རིའི་བུ་སངས་རྒྱས་ཀྱི་ཞིང་དེ་ན་བྱང་ཆུབ་སེམས་དཔའ་རྣམས་ནི་རིན་པོ་ཆེ་ཆེན་པོ་ཞེས་བྱ་སྟེ། དེའི་ཚེ་དེའི་དུས་ན་འཇིག་རྟེན་གྱི་ཁམས་རྡུལ་མེད་པ་དེར། དེ་དག་དཔག་ཏུ་མེད་པ་བགྲང་དུ་མེད་པ་བསམ་གྱིས་མི་ཁྱབ་བགྲང་བ་ལས་འདས་པ་མང་པོ་འབྱུང་སྟེ། དེ་བཞིན་གཤེགས་པས་བགྲང་བ་ནི་མ་གཏོགས་སོ། །དེའི་ཕྱིར་བསྐལ་པ་དེ་རིན་པོ་ཆེ་ཆེན་པོས་བརྒྱན་པ་ཞེས་བྱའོ། །ཤཱ་རིའི་བུ་འདི་ལྟར་ཡང་དེའི་ཚེ། བྱང་ཆུབ་སེམས་དཔའ་རྣམས་སངས་རྒྱས་ཀྱི་ཞིང་དེ་ན་ཕལ་ཆེར་རིན་པོ་ཆེའི་པད་མའི་སྟེང་ནས་གོམ་པ་འདོར་ཞིང་འགྲོ་བར་འགྱུར་ཏེ། བྱང་ཆུབ་སེམས་དཔའ་འབྱུང་བ་དེ་དག་ནི་ལས་དང་པོ་པ་མ་ཡིན་ཏེ། དགེ་བའི་རྩ་བ་ཡུན་རིང་པོ་ནས་སྤྱད་པ། ལོ་བརྒྱ་སྟོང་མང་པོར་ཚངས་པར་སྤྱོད་པ་སྤྱད་པ། དེ་བཞིན་གཤེགས་པས་ཡོངས་སུ་བསྟོད་པ། སངས་རྒྱས་ཀྱི་ཡེ་ཤེས་ལ་བརྩོན་པ་མངོན་པར་ཤེས་པ་ཆེན་པོ་ཡོངས་སུ་སྦྱངས་པ་ལས་སྐྱེས་པ། ཆོས་ཀྱི་ཚུལ་ཐམས་ཅད་ལ་མཁས་པ། མཉེན་པ་དྲན་པ་དང་ལྡན་པ་ཡིན་ཏེ། ཤཱ་རིའི་བུ་ཕལ་ཆེར་ནི་བྱང་ཆུབ་སེམས་དཔའ་དེ་

which will be level, delightful, good, beautiful, pure, prosperous, wealthy, peaceful, with an abundance of food,¹⁷⁸ and filled with many humans and maruts. The ground will be beryl, divided eightfold like a checkerboard by golden cords,¹⁷⁹ and within each square there will be jewel trees, which will always be adorned by flowers and fruits made of the seven precious materials.

“Śāriputra, the tathāgata, the arhat, the perfectly enlightened buddha Padmaprabha will teach the Dharma beginning with the three yānas. Moreover, Śāriputra, although that tathāgata will not appear during an eon of degeneration, he will nevertheless teach the Dharma in accordance with his previous prayers.

“Śāriputra, the name of that eon will be Adorned by Great Jewels. Śāriputra, why do you think that eon will be called Adorned by Great Jewels? Śāriputra, in that realm the bodhisattvas will be called great jewels (mahāratna), and at that time, in that era, in the realm Virajā there will appear so many bodhisattvas that they will be countless, incalculable, innumerable; only a tathāgata will be able to count them. That is why that eon will be called Adorned by Great Jewels.

“Śāriputra, at that time the bodhisattvas¹⁸⁰ in that buddha realm will be stepping upon jewel lotuses when they walk. Those bodhisattvas will not be novices, but will have practiced the roots of merit for a long time, practiced celibacy with many hundreds of thousands of buddhas,¹⁸¹ been praised by the tathāgatas, been dedicated to the wisdom of buddhahood, given rise to the development of the great higher knowledges, become skilled in all the ways of the Dharma, and will be kind and mindful.

“Śāriputra, that buddha realm will be filled by that kind of bodhisattva.
