tathā hi candra-pradīpa-sūtre pāṭhaḥ | ārocayāmi prativedayāmi vo yathā yathā bahulu vitarkayen naraḥ tathā tathā bhavati tan-nimna-cittaḥ tehī vitarkehi tan-niśritehi + iti ||

For thus is the reading in the Candrapradīpasūtra: / “I announce to you, I inform you: / Just as a man ponders much, / So does his mind incline toward that, / Through those thoughts based upon that.”
