2.68

我北辰菩薩名曰妙見，今欲說神呪，擁護諸國土，所作甚奇特，故名妙見。處於閻浮提，眾星中最勝，神仙中之仙，菩薩之大將，光目諸菩薩，廣濟諸群生。

I, the Bodhisattva of the Northern Star named Miaojian, / now wish to speak a dhāraṇī-mantra / to protect all realms and lands. / What I perform is extraordinarily wondrous, / and so I am called Miaojian. / Abiding in Jambudvīpa, / supreme among the host of stars, / an immortal among divine rṣis, / a great general of bodhisattvas, / with eyes of light upon all bodhisattvas, / broadly delivering all sentient beings.
