欲出行報有五事：一者當頭面作禮；二者當正住如事說；三者已可當禮；四者若師可止，不得違；五者欲還入室讀經。

When wishing to go out, there are five matters to report: first, make obeisance with head and face; second, stand properly and explain the matter as it is; third, once permitted, pay obeisance; fourth, if the master forbids it, do not disobey; fifth, when wishing to return to the room to recite sūtras.
