阿闍梨當有五德：一者當有四阿含、二者當有戒具德、三者當有慧德、四者當有大德、五者當自守。
An ācārya should have five virtues: first, he should possess the four Āgamas; second, he should have the virtue of complete precepts; third, he should have the virtue of wisdom; fourth, he should have great virtue; fifth, he should guard himself.
