2.19

若欲遠行，持沙彌寄人，有五事：一者先問沙彌某可汝意不？二者汝承事主能可人意不？三者設呵罵汝，不得言非我阿闍梨，罵我為非。四者承事主如視我。五者如法教汝，不得捨去。

If one wishes to travel far and entrust one's śrāmaṇera to another person, there are five matters: First, ask the śrāmaṇera beforehand, 'Is so-and-so agreeable to you?' Second, 'Can you serve the host in a pleasing manner?' Third, 'If he reprimands and scolds you, you must not say, "He is not my ācārya, so scolding me is wrong."' Fourth, 'Serve the host just as you regard me.' Fifth, 'When he instructs you according to the Dharma, you must not abandon him and leave.'
