鉢泥僧摩波利，有十五德：一者用佛故；二者用法故；三者用比丘僧故；四者當惜眾物；五者當惜招提僧物；六者當惜比丘僧物；七者當知佛事；八者當知招提僧事；九者當知比丘僧事；十者不得持塔物著招提僧物中；十一者不得持塔物著比丘僧物中；十二者不得持招提僧物著塔物中；十三者不得持招提僧物著比丘僧物中；十四者不得持比丘僧物著塔物中；十五者不得持比丘僧物著招提。

The pātra-and-robes vihārapāla has fifteen virtues: first, for the sake of the Buddha; second, for the sake of the Dharma; third, for the sake of the bhikṣusaṅgha; fourth, one should cherish the property of the saṅgha; fifth, one should cherish the property of the universal saṅgha (cāturdiśa-saṅgha); sixth, one should cherish the property of the bhikṣusaṅgha; seventh, one should know the affairs of the Buddha; eighth, one should know the affairs of the universal saṅgha; ninth, one should know the affairs of the bhikṣusaṅgha; tenth, one must not take stūpa property and put it into the property of the universal saṅgha; eleventh, one must not take stūpa property and put it into the property of the bhikṣusaṅgha; twelfth, one must not take property of the universal saṅgha and put it into stūpa property; thirteenth, one must not take property of the universal saṅgha and put it into the property of the bhikṣusaṅgha; fourteenth, one must not take property of the bhikṣusaṅgha and put it into stūpa property; fifteenth, one must not take property of the bhikṣusaṅgha and put it into the property of the universal saṅgha.
