問：「未滿五臘度人，犯何事？其弟子為得戒不？」答：「若知非法而度犯墮，過三諫不止犯決斷。若弟子不知是非法，得戒。若知，不得。」

Question: "If one has not completed five seniority years and ordains someone, what offence does one commit? Does that disciple obtain the precepts?" Answer: "If he ordains knowing it to be contrary to Dharma, he commits an offence of pātayantika. If he does not stop after exceeding three admonitions, he commits defiance of admonition. If the disciple does not know it to be contrary to Dharma, he obtains the precepts. If he knows, he does not obtain them."
