問：「沙彌受大戒，請一比丘為大戒師。而此比丘不知羯磨及受戒法，更轉請一人與受戒。以何當為師？」答：「與受戒者是師，無戒法與者非師。」

Question: "When a śrāmaṇera receives the full precepts, he invites a bhikṣu to be the full-precept master. But this bhikṣu does not know the karmavācanā or the procedures for receiving the precepts, and turns to invite another person to confer the precepts on him. Which one should be considered the master?" Answer: "The one who confers the precepts is the master; the one who had no precept procedures to confer is not the master."
