問：「壇上師僧，或著俗服、或犯戒。受戒者得戒不？」答：「若受戒人知是非法，不得。不知，便得。」

Question: "If the master or monks on the platform wear secular clothes or have broken the precepts, does the one receiving the precepts obtain the precepts?" Answer: "If the person receiving the precepts knows that this is contrary to Dharma, he does not obtain them. If he does not know, he then obtains them."
