問：「壇上師僧，或著俗服、或犯禁戒。受戒者得戒不？」答：「若受戒人知是非法，不得。不知，得。」

Question: "If the master and saṃgha on the platform wear secular clothes or have violated the prohibitive precepts, does the one receiving the precepts obtain them?"
Answer: "If the person receiving the precepts knows that it is contrary to Dharma, he does not obtain them. If he does not know, he obtains them."
