問：「二人同臘，小者前坐、大者後坐。前坐者已受歲，後坐者未受，於一月中何者應大？」答：「先大者故大，計本日故。」

Question: "Two people have the same rains seniority; the junior entered the earlier retreat and the senior entered the later retreat. The one of the earlier retreat has already received pravāraṇā, while the one of the later retreat has not yet received it. During that one month, which one should be senior?" Answer: "The one who was formerly senior remains senior, because the original day is calculated."
