問：「比丘不受歲，犯何事？」答：「若一比丘不受歲，眾諫使受。一諫至三受好，若過三不受犯決斷，過四不受非沙門，以不肯受法故。」

Question: "If a bhikṣu does not receive the pravāraṇā, what offence does he commit?" Answer: "If a bhikṣu does not receive the pravāraṇā, the saṅgha should admonish him to receive it. It is good if he receives it within one to three admonitions. If he does not receive it after exceeding three admonitions, he commits defiance of admonition. If he does not receive it after exceeding four admonitions, he is not a śramaṇa, because he refuses to accept the Dharma."
