問：「若有比丘，不捨戒作沙彌，或即大道人而更受戒不？」答：「不得。」問：「若不得戒。前所受戒故在不？」答：「在。」問：「後師故是師不？」答：「非。」

Question: "If there is a bhikṣu who does not renounce the precepts to become a śrāmaṇera, or who is already a great renunciant, may he receive the precepts again?"
Answer: "He may not."
Question: "If he does not obtain the precepts, are the precepts previously received still present?"
Answer: "They are present."
Question: "Is the later master still his master?"
Answer: "He is not."
