Then the Buddha again manifested a million transformed supernatural powers, with immeasurable light and an immeasurably pure body, repeatedly entrusting this Sūtra on the Necklace Adornment of the Ocean of Vajra Treasury: "All of you in the great assembly! Accept and uphold this sūtra and Dharma. This sūtra is the Dharma practiced in the minds of immeasurable hundreds of thousands of past Buddhas; you must accept, uphold, and make offerings to it." At that time, the entire great assembly simultaneously emitted a thousand rays of light from their seats, illuminating the trichiliocosm; rejoicing, they accepted and upheld the inconceivable Sūtra on the Bodhisattva Necklace Adornment. Receiving it upon their crowns and making offerings, they bowed to the Buddha and withdrew. Further, there were devaputras of the six desire heavens and ten thousand kings who, hearing that the Buddha's Dharma seat was dispersing, wept and wailed at once, their tears flowing, the sound of their grief filling the three thousand worlds; there was none who did not weep with sorrow as they departed from their seats. Further, there were eight billion great bodhisattvas who, all with the four immeasurables, treating existence and nonexistence as one and equal, unconditioned and signless, accepted and upheld the Buddha's words, each entering the samādhi of inexhaustible dharmic transformation, and rejoicing, they withdrew. Further, there were ten thousand worthy ones of initial practice who entered the nine contemplation absorptions—the four dhyānas, the four formless absorptions, and the absorption of cessation—and through the minds of the seven purifications and the ten precepts, entered absorption, the path of seeing, crossed over doubt, practiced the right path, practiced knowledge and vision, and severed knowledge and vision; having gained entry into the Dharma, they bowed to the Buddha and withdrew.
