阿難言：「亦無諸天龍、鬼神、人及非人來見教也。向者乞食，道逢六師徒黨薩遮尼乾，見毀罵辱。」阿難即以上事向如來說。

Ānanda said: "No devas, nāgas, spirits, humans, or non-humans came to instruct me. Just now, while begging for food, I met on the road Satyaka Nirgrantha, a follower of the six non-Buddhist teachers, who reviled, scolded, and insulted me." Ānanda then related the preceding matter to the Tathāgata.
