2.13

「如我不喜為人所𣣋，強力迫愶，威恩所逼，恃怙形勢，壓伏戢遏，不令面自炳說，自顯清白者，一切眾生亦復如是。是故菩薩，乃至喪失身命，終不非理加於眾生。

'Just as I do not delight in being cheated or bullied by others, coerced by force, compelled by intimidation or favor, suppressed and stifled by reliance on power and status, and not allowed to speak out clearly face-to-face to demonstrate my own innocence, so too is it for all sentient beings. Therefore, the bodhisattva, even if it costs his body and life, will never inflict unreasonable treatment upon sentient beings.
