爾時，阿那律陀往詣大王所，白言：「大王！當知如來近在忉利天，却後七日當還閻浮提。」王聞是語，心生歡喜，宣令國土，掃灑燒香，懸繒幡蓋競共集聚，設眾供養種種餚饍、華香、伎樂。

At that time, Aniruddha went to the great king's place and said: "Great King! You should know that the Tathāgata is nearby in Trāyastriṃśa Heaven, and after seven days he will return to Jambudvīpa." Hearing these words, the king rejoiced in his heart and proclaimed throughout his realm that they should sweep, sprinkle, and burn incense; hanging silk banners and canopies, they vied with one another to assemble, setting out diverse offerings of various delicacies, flowers, incense, and musical entertainments.
