3.60

爾時如來四眾圍遶，為諸天龍、鬼神、大眾廣說世論及出世間之法。時婆羅門白佛言：「世尊！垂老之年生育此兒，世尊大慈普覆一切，今以此兒為佛弟子。」

At that time the Tathāgata was surrounded by the fourfold assembly, extensively expounding mundane treatises and supramundane dharmas for the devas, nāgas, ghosts, spirits, and the great assembly. Then the brāhmaṇa said to the Buddha: “Bhagavat! In my declining years of old age I gave birth to and raised this boy. The Bhagavat’s great compassion covers all universally; I now offer this boy to be a disciple of the Buddha.”
