3.61

佛言：「善來比丘！鬚髮自落，袈裟著身。」佛為說法，示教利喜，即得道果，三明六通，具八解脫。

The Buddha said: “Welcome, bhikṣu!” His hair and beard fell away naturally, and the kāṣāya robe clad his body. The Buddha spoke the Dharma for him, instructing, encouraging, benefiting, and delighting him, and he immediately attained the fruit of the path, the three knowledges, the six supernatural powers, and possessed the eight liberations.
