6.15

問曰：「佛若一切說者，有經云：『佛坐一樹下，捉一枝葉，問弟子曰：「此枝葉多，樹上葉多？」答曰：「樹上葉多。」佛言：「我所知法如樹上葉，我所說法如掌中葉。」』云何言佛一切說耶？」

Question: "If the Buddha taught everything, a sūtra says: 'The Buddha was sitting under a tree, took up a branch of leaves, and asked his disciples, "Are there more leaves on this branch, or are there more leaves on the tree?" They answered, "There are more leaves on the tree." The Buddha said, "The dharmas I know are like the leaves on the tree, and the dharmas I have taught are like the leaves in my palm."' Why then say that the Buddha taught everything?"
