6.24

答曰：「云：『諸天語阿難。』又云：『佛入世俗心，令阿難知。』又云：『從諸比丘邊聞。』又云：『阿難從佛請願：「願佛莫與我故衣，莫令人請我食。我為求法，恭敬佛故，侍佛所須，不為衣食。諸比丘晨暮二時，得見世尊，莫令我爾，欲見便見。又，佛二十年中所說法，盡為我說。」』」

Answer: "It is said: 'The devas told Ānanda.' It is also said: 'The Buddha entered a worldly mind and caused Ānanda to know it.' It is also said: 'He heard it from the side of the bhikṣus.' It is also said: 'Ānanda requested a boon from the Buddha: "May the Buddha not give me his old robes; may he not cause people to invite me for meals. Because I seek the Dharma and revere the Buddha, I attend to what the Buddha requires, not for clothing and food. The bhikṣus get to see the World-Honoured One at the two times of morning and evening; do not let it be so for me—whenever I wish to see him, let me see him. Furthermore, as for the Dharma the Buddha taught during the twenty years, teach it all to me."'"
