3.22

經曰：謂貪欲性無戲論故嗔恚性亦無戲論，嗔恚性無戲論故愚癡性亦無戲論，愚癡性無戲論故猶預性亦無戲論，猶預性無戲論故諸見性亦無戲論，諸見性無戲論故憍慢性亦無戲論。

The Sūtra states: 'Namely, because the nature of greed is free from conceptual proliferation, the nature of anger is also free from conceptual proliferation; because the nature of anger is free from conceptual proliferation, the nature of delusion is also free from conceptual proliferation; because the nature of delusion is free from conceptual proliferation, the nature of hesitation is also free from conceptual proliferation; because the nature of hesitation is free from conceptual proliferation, the nature of views is also free from conceptual proliferation; because the nature of views is free from conceptual proliferation, the nature of haughtiness and pride is also free from conceptual proliferation.'
