述曰，此第二答中，無著、世親皆有三段。且世親者，初、明修行；次、「當知是人」下，明逢善友；「如來悉知」已下，明具福德，達二空理，不著空、有也。無著科者，初、顯示修行，次、顯示集因，後顯示善友攝受。兩科雖復有異，皆是答須菩提生疑問已。

The commentary says: In this second [part], the answer, both Asaṅga and Vasubandhu have three sections. First, for Vasubandhu: first, he clarifies cultivation; next, from "one should know this person" onward, he clarifies meeting good friends; from "the Tathāgata fully knows" onward, he clarifies being endowed with merit, comprehending the principle of the two emptinesses, and not clinging to emptiness or existence. For Asaṅga's headings: first, he reveals cultivation; next, he reveals accumulating causes; finally, he reveals being gathered and accepted by good friends. Although the two sets of headings differ, both answer Subhūti's doubt after it arose.
