爾時，須菩提聞說是經，深解義趣，涕淚悲泣，而白佛言：「希有，世尊！佛說如是甚深經典，我從昔來所得慧眼，未曾得聞如是之經。」
At that time, Subhūti, having heard this sūtra taught and having deeply understood its meaning and purport, wept with tears flowing and said to the Buddha: "How rare, Bhagavat! The Buddha has spoken such a profound classic; with the eye of wisdom that I have attained from the past up to now, I have never before heard such a sūtra."
