爾時須菩提。聞說是經深解義趣。涕淚悲泣而白佛言。希有世尊。佛說如是甚深經典。我從昔來所得慧眼。未曾得聞如是之經。

At that time, Subhūti, hearing this sūtra spoken and deeply understanding its meaning, wept tears of sorrow and addressed the Buddha, saying, "Rare, Bhagavat! The Buddha has spoken such a profound scripture. From the time I gained the eye of wisdom in the past until now, I have never before heard such a sūtra."
