2.123

世親釋曰，謂有謗云「如來不得菩提」，為斷此疑，故云「如來所得菩提無實無虛」也，謂如來得彼菩提故，故曰不虛；非實有為相故，故曰不實。

Vasubandhu explains: There is a slander saying, 'The Tathāgata does not attain bodhi.' To sever this doubt, it is therefore said that 'the bodhi attained by the Tathāgata is neither real nor unreal.' That is, because the Tathāgata attains that bodhi, it is said to be 'not unreal'; because it does not possess the characteristics of conditioned things, it is said to be 'not real.'
