理智融者。以聽法之際能所不分，以動念即乖法體，二皆真實故，言融而不言泯也。斯則淨心真境一對。

"Principle and cognition blend": because while hearing the Dharma, subject and object are not distinguished; since stirring a thought runs contrary to the entity of the Dharma, and because both are real, it says "blend" rather than "extinguish." This constitutes the pair of pure mind and true objects.
