十七初地者。如前疏云：「攝種性智證，遍行真如等」，故當初地。

On "the seventeenth is the first ground": as the earlier Commentary says, "subsuming the wisdom of lineage and realization, pervasive tathatā, and so forth"; hence it corresponds to the first ground.
