3.181

將小下。將小菩薩付大菩薩，囑大菩薩化小菩薩也。此如父母遺囑子孫云云。

On "taking the lesser" and so forth: entrusting the lesser bodhisattvas to the great bodhisattvas, and enjoining the great bodhisattvas to transform the lesser bodhisattvas. This is like parents leaving their last instructions to their children and grandchildren, and so forth.
