Commentary: Third, praising his virtues. This means his stage reaches the ten bhūmis such as Pramuditā, practicing the six pāramitās such as giving, and the thirty-seven factors such as the stations of mindfulness, as already explained above. Regarding the four kinds of indestructible clarity, according to the Sarvāstivāda, indestructible faith in the Three Jewels and faith in the precepts constitute the four. According to the *Tattvasiddhi-śāstra*, faith in the Three Jewels and the precepts takes the four faiths as its essence. Now the Mahāyāna tradition agrees with the *Tattvasiddhi-śāstra*, and the meaning is likewise not contradictory. Regarding "transforming through the Mahāyāna," the Sanskrit sound mahāyāna is here translated "Great Vehicle." Practicing the two practices of self-benefit and benefiting others with equality is therefore called transforming through the Mahāyāna.
