Fifth, regarding the size of their physical dimensions: the essential nature dharma body is like empty space, and the size of its physical dimensions cannot be spoken of; in terms of its marks, it pervades all places. As for the enjoyment body, it has form (rūpa) and non-form: since non-material dharmas have no physical form, the size of their physical dimensions also cannot be spoken of; if spoken in terms of its supporting body and the cognitive spheres known by it, it may also be said to pervade all places. Form has two kinds: first, actual form; second, transformed form. 'Actual form' is produced by cultivation over three incalculable eons, filling the dharmadhātu and pervading the actual pure lands, known only by a buddha and a buddha. 'Transformed form' refers to the various bodies manifested through the power of compassion and vows for the assemblies of bodhisattvas who have entered the great bhūmis, whose physical dimensions are indeterminate; as for the transformation bodies manifested to convert those prior to the bhūmis, they comprise both form and non-form: non-form has no shape and thus no physical dimensions, while form is indeterminate, adapting to those being converted, as extensively explained therein.
