問言：「若不習氣盡處制二智者，何故斷此習耶？」解言：「猶如前釋為欲廣集知見，何開為二智耶？」

The question says: "If the two knowledges are not instituted at the point where habit energies are exhausted, why sever these habit energies?" The explanation says: "Just as explained before, it is out of a desire to broadly amass knowledge and vision; how could it be opened up as the two knowledges?"
