二者、宗愛法師，頓與不定同前，就漸更判四時教，即莊嚴旻師所用。三時不異前，更於無相後、常住之前，指法華會三歸一，萬善悉向菩提，名同歸教也。

Second, Dharma Master Zong'ai: the sudden and the indeterminate are the same as before; regarding the gradual, he further distinguished teachings of four periods, which is what was used by Master Min of Zhuangyan. The three periods do not differ from before, but after [the teaching] without characteristics and before [the teaching of] eternal abiding, he pointed to the Lotus Sūtra as harmonizing the three to return to the one, with all myriad virtues directed toward bodhi, calling it the teaching of identical return.
