眾經論明教非一，若摩得勒伽有二藏：聲聞藏、菩薩藏。又諸經有三藏：二如上，加雜藏。分十一部經是聲聞藏，方廣部是菩薩藏，合十二部是雜藏。又有四藏，更開佛藏。《菩薩處胎經》八藏，謂：胎化藏、中陰藏、摩訶衍方等藏、戒律藏、十住藏、雜藏、金剛藏、佛藏。彼諸藏云何會通？

The explanations of the teachings in the various sūtras and treatises are not one: the Mātṛkā has two baskets: the śrāvaka-piṭaka and the bodhisattva-piṭaka. Further, various sūtras have three baskets: the two as above, with the miscellaneous basket added. Dividing them, the eleven divisions of sūtras are the śrāvaka-piṭaka, the vaipulya division is the bodhisattva-piṭaka, and the combined twelve divisions are the miscellaneous basket. There are also four baskets, further opening a buddha basket. The *Bodhisattvagarbha-sūtra* has eight baskets: the basket of womb transformation, the basket of the intermediate state, the mahāyāna vaipulya basket, the vinaya basket, the ten abodes basket, the miscellaneous basket, the vajra basket, and the buddha basket. How are those various baskets reconciled?
