2.24

如是因者，惡習因也。自種相生，習續不斷，以習發故，為惡易成，故名如是因。

As for 'such cause', it is the habitual cause of evil. Arising from its own seeds, the habit continues unbroken; because habit is activated, evil is easily accomplished, and therefore it is called 'such cause'.
