The stage of the iron wheel, in terms of the shared meaning, is the stage of dry wisdom and the patience of subduing. The thirty minds correspond to the stage of nature and the patience of pliable accord. The stage of the eight types of persons and the stage of seeing are the initial Joyous Stage, where the patience of the unproduced Dharma is attained. Hence the Pañcaviṃśatisāhasrikā says: "Whether the knowledge or severance of the srotaāpanna, all are the bodhisattva's patience of the unproduced." The inclination toward and the fruit of the stage of attenuation: the inclination is the Stage of Freedom from Defilement, and the fruit is the Luminous Stage. Hence the Pañcaviṃśatisāhasrikā says: "The sakṛdāgāmin's knowledge and severance are the bodhisattva's patience of the unproduced Dharma." The inclination toward and the fruit of the stage of detachment from desire: the inclination is the Radiant Stage, and the fruit is the Stage Difficult to Conquer. Hence the Pañcaviṃśatisāhasrikā says: "The anāgāmin's knowledge and severance are the bodhisattva's patience of the unproduced Dharma." The inclination toward and the fruit of the stage of having completed what was to be done: the inclination is the Stage of Manifestation, and the fruit is the Far-Reaching Stage. The Pañcaviṃśatisāhasrikā says: "The arhat's knowledge and severance are the bodhisattva's patience of the unproduced Dharma." The stage of the pratyekabuddha is the eighth, the Immovable Stage, cutting into residual propensities. The Pañcaviṃśatisāhasrikā says: "The knowledge and severance of the pratyekabuddha stage are the bodhisattva's patience of the unproduced Dharma." The bodhisattva stage is the Stage of Good Wisdom. The tenth stage should be understood as like the Buddha stage.
