18.22

次依經修行中三：先立遲速二行，次「若隨」下明行須體，三「諸經」下正示行相中四：先列四行名，次「諸行」下正示體，三「念念」下示行相，四「然小乘」下歷教分別。又二：先教，次味。初文先三藏中二：先辨同異，次正明行有體，次三教及約味可知。

Next, within "cultivating practice according to the sūtra," there are three [parts]: first, establishing the two practices of the slow and the swift; next, from "if following" downward, clarifying that practice requires substance; third, from "the various sūtras" downward, directly demonstrating the characteristics of practice, within which there are four [parts]: first, listing the names of the four practices; next, from "the various practices" downward, directly demonstrating the substance; third, from "thought to thought" downward, demonstrating the characteristics of practice; fourth, from "however, the Hinayana" downward, making distinctions through the teachings. This also has two [parts]: first, the teachings; next, the flavors. In the first text, first within the Tripiṭaka [Teaching], there are two [parts]: first, distinguishing identity and difference; next, directly clarifying that practice has substance. Next, the three teachings and [the classification] in terms of flavors can be understood.
