「佉羅騫馱」，此云廣肩胛，亦云惡陰，涌海水者，《正》本云寶錦。本住權、實二智，慈荷眾生故，迹為廣肩胛。觀者，三觀能鼓覆五住生死大海也。

"Kharaskandha", translated here as "Broad Shoulders", also called "Evil Aggregates", the one who billows the seawater; the *Zheng* version calls him "Precious Brocade". Originally abiding in the two wisdoms of expedient and real, out of compassion he shoulders sentient beings; hence his trace has broad shoulders. As for contemplation: the threefold contemplation can stir up and overturn the great ocean of birth and death of the five entrenchments.
