本迹解者，如文殊釋疑，引古佛為答，密得此意即是識本，非謂他佛昔現斯瑞，而我世尊本亦斯瑞，非今一反也（云云）。

In terms of the interpretation according to origin and traces: as Mañjuśrī resolved doubts by citing ancient buddhas in his reply, secretly grasping this intention is knowing the origin. It is not that other buddhas manifested this omen in the past while our World-Honoured One was also merely this omen in origin—it is not merely this once in the present (and so on).
