九者慈悲一雙。觀音即是大悲，謂拔七難三毒等苦，令其得脫。普門即是大慈，說法現身令其得果。

Ninth is the pair of loving-kindness and compassion. "Guanyin" is great compassion, referring to uprooting sufferings such as the seven perils and the three poisons, causing them to attain liberation. "Universal Gate" is great loving-kindness, expounding the Dharma and manifesting bodies to cause them to attain the fruit.
