Tenth is the pair of two bodies. Guanyin is the body of the king of medicinal trees: roots, trunk, branches, leaves, flowers, and fruits are all capable of curing illness. "Universal Gate" refers to the body of the king of wish-fulfilling jewels, capable of granting all happiness. The meaning of the two bodies comes from the Daśabhūmikā-śāstra, which explains in its commentary: "Without intention being able to extinguish the suffering of beings is like the king of medicinal trees; without intention granting happiness to beings is like the king of wish-fulfilling jewels."
