第六明次第。夫有苦者皆由乖理，若具二慧則是得理，得理者無復苦惱身心安樂，是以第一先明二慧。雖復有解，恐恃解㥄他或忌人勝己，故明不憍不嫉。初具二慧，又具兩行，則自德成立，然後以慈悲被人，故次第也。

Sixth is clarifying their sequence. Now, all those who have suffering do so because of deviating from principle; if one is endowed with the two kinds of wisdom, one then attains principle, and those who attain principle have no further suffering or affliction, and their bodies and minds are peaceful and joyful. Therefore, the two kinds of wisdom are clarified first. Although one has understanding, fearing that one might rely on understanding to look down on others or begrudge others surpassing oneself, non-arrogance and non-jealousy are clarified. When first endowed with the two kinds of wisdom and further endowed with the two practices, one's own virtue is established; after that, one reaches others with loving-kindness and compassion. Hence this sequence.
