第八者、功德不可思議。從初至後嘆法美人功德無量，如〈隨喜品〉說「第五十人聞一偈隨喜轉教，勝於施四百億萬阿僧祇世界六趣眾生一切樂具及令得阿羅漢果」，是為功德不可思議也。

Eighth, the merits are inconceivable. From beginning to end, the praise of the Dharma and the commendation of people are of boundless merit. As the 'Chapter on Joyful Acceptance' says: 'The fiftieth person who, hearing a single verse, joyfully accepts it and turns to teach it, surpasses giving all musical instruments and pleasures to the sentient beings of the six destinies across four hundred billion asaṃkhyeya worlds and causing them to attain arhatship.' This is called the merits being inconceivable.
